Window of Tolerance

This visual illustrates the three core states of nervous system regulation: hyperarousal (fight/flight/fawn), the window of tolerance (calm, connected), and hypoarousal (shutdown/freeze). It’s a helpful tool for recognizing when you’re within your optimal zone and when you might need strategies to return to balance. 


Your therapist will help you explore and map your own experience of these core states. A very helpful tool on your wellness journey!
